The Yet to Be

Only our eyes ever met
No words were exchanged
Now it's your time to speak
I must hold my peace,
But silently we converse

You ask, "Are we the same?"
Yes, I am your sister
And you are a stranger,
But your face I well know,
The face of an ancient lover

When soul's eyes connect,
It's  like falling in love,
A kiss that allows abstract
but not skin to touch,
How we mirror above

How wonderful to see
Someone as brave as you
I try to hide the tears
Because you do not hide your voice
I long to share me too

This is much like heaven
Souls joining another to share
Not in lust, not like a crush
This thing is deeper,
Almost too much to bear

To you dear soul brother,
I will never speak,
Never will you know my name
But this is for the better,
This secret we keep,

For on the day when we each other's soul's claim,
None on earth could put out that flame

Sermon on the mount for today

Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who are going through hard times, because there are great things awaiting you. Blessed are you who hold on to the promise, who hold on to hope, when all the odds are against you, because My promises endure and hope never fades. Blessed are you who hold on with even the smallest faith, your faith will grow. Blessed are you who mourn, for God himself is your comforter. Blessed are you who labor in shame, who work hard even when no one else is watching, because God sees and those who belong to him will never be put to shame. Blessed are you naive ones, who believe in the unbelievable, miracles will happen for you. Blessed are you who look up to the moon and choose to see beauty in the world, beauty you will find. Blessed are you, who pray for the impossible, the impossible will be given you. Blessed are you, who seek my heart, you will not seek in vain. Blessed are you who cling foolishly to my words, my words will come alive in your heart. You have not been forgotten my beloved, you are still and always mine.
